The BMW K75RT

Well its been a long time in the pipeline and at last we are VERY pleased to have taken possession of an ex NHS BMW K75RT.

Before more is said on the bike and its role, FREEWHEELERS say a very loud 'Thank YOU' to Ray Stokes who has pulled all the right strings to make this happen.

So now we have this bike what are we going to be doing with it? Well the dear old Deauville will now take a long earned rest, have a good old brush up, stay in the wings and act as a stand-by bike. As we now have two very capable bikes we are making firm plans to base one bike in Bristol and one in Somerset. This will allow for a better response within an area and to the hospitals we cover. We also intend to rotate the bikes between the two areas so that all riders get to use both bikes.

Obviously Ray was the main man in all this, but he was not alone. Many thanks go to Graham of 'On The Spot Signs' of Stockwood Bristol, for producing our decals and Andy of 'Brights Autos' of Filton Bristol, for re-engineering the bikes discs.

Take a quick look at the photos page for some pictures of the bike.

Pictured here are a motley crew with Ray handing the keys for the bike over to our chairman Ian Moore.

Many thanks to all our supporters.
