La Landelle is set in 3 acres of grounds including a courtyard area, an orchard and open areas.  The surrounding area is totally rural giving you all the peace and seclusion you could want. The spire of Mont St. Michel can be seen from the bedroom windows giving you an idea of how close La Landelle is to this historic monument.

The breathtaking Le Mont St. Michel and the beaches along the Contentin shoreline are not to be missed. This makes a very interesting day out. Check out the map of the area.

Within an hours drive from La Landelle there are many more interesting places to visit:-
There is the well preserved medieval town of Bayeaux with its famous tapestry and the D Day beaches, museums and cemeteries.
To the South are the historic and pretty villages of Domfront and the thermal spa town of Bagnoles-del-L'orn. The old town of Granville is only a short drive, and from there you can take a short ferry ride to the Channel Islands. Caen is well worth a visit to see the Peace Memorial and the fabulous rose gardens and of course a good place for shopping. Travelling a little further you will reach many beautiful medieval towns, including Dinan, Dinard, Rouen and Honfleur. For a special trip you could visit Monet's garden at Giverny or visit Paris. In fact there is so much to do that you will never have enough time to see everything and will want to go back and stay again.

Accommodation

La Landelle is around 200 years old and has retained it's original features such as beams and fireplace.  There are three double bedrooms and a mezzanine area with a cot if needed.  There is a bathroom with toilet upstairs and a shower room with toilet downstairs.  The large kitchen has all the appliances needed for a self catering holiday.
